Join us on this Sunday 29th August at 11am at the Nine Stone Carpark at Mount Leinster and we will walk along towards the nearby source of the Burren River. There Richard Burgess will talk to us about the importance of water health.
Richard Burgess, Tullow native and Farmer, is a passionate Fisherman and is Chairman of
the Slaney River Trust. He is critically aware of the importance of headwater protection and
actively promotes awareness of the importance of water health.
This event is organised by the Save Mount Leinster community group.
Park at Nine Stones public car park.
11am group will walk to Burren river – please dress for the weather.
After the talk there will be tea/coffee and something sweet.
